Barry's Background.

I live in South Scottsdale close to Old Town. That’s where my wife, Farrah, and I are raising our twin boys, Barron and Monroe.

I grew up in North Scottsdale where I now work as a Certified Public Accountant for one of the most prestigious accounting firms in Arizona.

In 2003, I graduated from Chaparral High School where I was an all-state athlete. I earned degrees from Boston University in economics and international relations, and a Master’s Degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts.

Before serving on the City Council, I was a commissioner on the city’s Planning Commission. I also served as chairman of the Transportation Commission and chairman of the Building Advisory Board of Appeals.

In 2018 and 2020, I was elected Treasurer of the Legislative District 23 Republicans, where I also serve as a State Committeeman.

I graduated from the Scottsdale Leadership Program (Class 28) in 2014.
